Why are some of us staying busy with tasks and projects while others are FaceTiming with every friend they know? Well, the way we’re wired colors how we’re coping right now. And knowing your wiring (and everyone else’s in your home) could save you from (another) regrettable conversation. Gather your family for an interactive online event with communication coach and temperament expert Kathleen Edelman. You’re guaranteed a few laughs and a lot more grace for everyone sheltering at home (and beyond).

The Art of Neighboring - Online (Ney)

York
Time: Weekly: Tuesdays at 7:00 PM Dates: 6/23/2020 to 7/14/2020 Leader: Caleb Sechrist and Josh Ney
As we find ourselves in a world filled with tension, COVID-19, social distancing, and churches meeting in homes what does it look like to love our neighbors? ...what about our actual next-door neighbors? As followers of Jesus, we’ve been called to love both God and our neighbors. It’s easier said than done, but if we push past the fear, time barriers, and pride that can keep us from engaging with others, we can build deep connections with the people in our neighborhood and, most importantly, please God. In this four-session series based on their book The Art of Neighboring, Jay Pathak and Dave Runyon help us focus on the people within our neighborhood and our community and learn what it means to be a good neighbor.
