Our world is full of hurting people who struggle with a range of emotional issues, such as anxiety, loneliness, and depression. We also contend with relational struggles, professional disappointments, and identity issues. In this 5 week group we'll be discussing content by Dr. Henry Cloud to learn scriptural principles of grace, forgiveness, and sound wisdom that promote wholeness, giving struggling individuals hope for healing. As we watch the news, staying up to date on the pandemic, stress and anxiety increase as we see what is going on in our family, community, state, and world. What we don't know is that fear increases as we face an uncertain future. And we grieve the loss of jobs, prom, graduation, spending time with friends, etc. Counselors, Kimberly Blest, MA, LPC and Jason Field, MA along with Dave Safstrom facilitating the conversation, will help you identify what anxiety is, your stressors and fears and understand the steps of grief. Walk away with renewed hope and tools on how to not drown in this world of uncertainty.
