For the vast majority of His life, Jesus never traveled outside of a 100-mile radius from where He was born, but today His name is spoken in every corner of the earth. During this season of Women's Group, we will join biblical culturalist, Kristi McLelland, for her 7-week, video-based Bible study, The Gospel On the Ground. We will learn how Jesus' message of hope and reconciliation began to spread from Jerusalem and how it's still spreading like wildfire today. We will study the early years of the church as told in the book of Acts. Along the way, we'll learn that the Kingdom of God is always on the move, offering purpose and joy to all of us longing for true fulfillment, and we'll understand that we are meant to play a part in the redemptive story God continues to write through our lives today. Join us Thursdays from 6:30-8:30pm beginning February 16. Workbook cost, including full video access, is $25. Books will be available for purchase at our first group session (cash, check, credit/debit). Scholarships are available.
